SUMMER PROGRAMS 2024
Our Degas summer programs have been designed year after year to be the highest quality, enriching programs taught by top industry professionals. We offer intensives for serious students who want to take their talents to the next level. As well as our Dance Camps that are designed for children and young teens that want to expand their knowledge and technical skills in various forms of dance. These are highly enriching programs and are not designed as babysitting because we believe in providing quality time and education.. Each week culminates in a showcase performance or video production.
There is limited space in our programs and many weeks sell out! We highly recommend saving your space asap. For your convenience tuition is charged May 20th for June Intensives and June 20th for July intensives. There is a non-refundable $35 registration fee due at the time of registration for each week to save your space.
JUNE 17-21ST BALLET / CONTEMPORARY INTENSIVE
For serious dancers that want to take their talents to the next level in concert contemporary and ballet. Classes include ballet, pointe/pre-pointe, modern, contemporary, improv, choreography composition, floor work, stretch and flexibility and video production. 10:00AM-5:00PM $525wk / $35 Registration Fee

JUNE 24-28TH COMMERCIAL DANCE INTENSIVE
For serious dancers that want to take their talents to the next level in commercial dance. Classes include Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Floor Work, Audition Technique, Turns/Leaps, Stretch and conditioning and video production. 10:00AM-5:00PM $525wk / $35 Registration Fee

JULY 8-12TH MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP
For Children ages 3-12 that want to expand their knowledge and technical skills in Musical Theatre. Students will be working on a performance presentation that will take place on Friday at the closing of the camp. Daily classes will include ballet, jazz, musical theatre, tap, vocal and acting. 9:00AM - 3:00PM $500wk / $35 Registration Fee

JULY 22-26TH INTERNATIONAL DANCE INTENSIVE (THE NETHERLANDS)
For serious students who want to experience living and dancing in Europe. Degas International Dance Academy in Delft, Netherlands is hosting our International intensive. There is VERY limited space for US students register asap to save your space.
Daily classes include ballet, pointe/pre-pointe, modern, contemporary, improv, choreography composition, floor work, stretch and flexibility and video production.
Classes are from 9:00AM-3:00PM followed by daily excursions to museums, shops, beach, bike and boat tours around the Hague and Delft.
Teen Students can travel abroad in large groups accompanied by one chaperone. Younger students could have 2-3 students per chaperone. We can provide hotel recommendations and fun things for the chaperones and family to do while the students are in classes. $700 week includes dance tuition and travel, admissions, tours/trips each day after classes.
